Michael?s Staging Tips:

When selling your home, place a great platter or wooden bowl on the kitchen counter filled with fruits and vegetables. They last longer than flowers and create a homey effect.? It can as simple as just apples, oranges and lemons and an artichoke.

When painting trim, don?t use stark white. Use a muted white such as Benjamin Moore 962. It?s called grey mist and looks grey on the chip but once painted, looks like dirty white and marries to your color softly rather than harshly. Remember when applying the paint it always looks lighter than the paint chip.

Make someone want to sit in your home and never leave. Accent your seating with throw pillows. They create a cozy and warm environment and the cost is minimal.

Remove the feel of a stale environment. Purchase an inexpensive potted plant. There is nothing better to bring life to a room than incorporating something living.
