The Mike Cottrell School of Business, at North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega, GA, is seeking applications for the
Director of the BB&T Center for Ethical Business Leadership.
The primary objective of the Center is to become a catalyst for ethical thought, analysis and engagement in the north Georgia region. The Center's work will facilitate critical thinking in ethical leadership through its curriculum, research and professional development.
The Director's overall responsibility is planning and executing the mission and operations of the Center. The Center is a start-up that is fully funded for five years. The Director is responsible for achieving self-sufficiency for the Center beyond its current five-year funding.
Minimum of a Master's degree is required, preferably in the field of business, ethics and / or leadership
At least five (5) years of business and academic experience.
Experience in planning and executing projects or start-up initiatives.
Strong written and oral communication skills including an effective capability for public speaking.
Strong interest and competency regarding ethical leadership and management practice preferred.
Experience in business or organizational development preferred.
