Fall Family Fun Day
Saturday, October 8, 2011; 12 p.m. ? 4 p.m.
This annual event is designed to increase an awareness of the natural world with many activities for children and their families. See live animal presentations, get your face painted, visit the pumpkin patch, or create a fall decoration at the ?Art Creation Station.? And don?t forget to try your skills with a fun round of pumpkin bowling, or a walk across the Wiconisco Creek on our beautiful bridge.

Join the Center and Harrisburg film co-op Moviate for the first installment of a three part series featuring silent films set to live original scores. The Halloween edition will feature George Lucas? first film, ?THX 1138,? set to an original score by Harrisburg?s The Living Screen. ?Weather-permitting, the screening will be held on the Center?s lower patio, so bring a warm coat or blanket! We will be selling tasty warm cider, coffee and tea to keep you toasty!

Not quite a classic rock band, and not quite a roots rock band, HotWingJones feels familiar, but sounds different. The band has the distinction of being voted by the readers of Harrisburg Magazine the ?Simply the Best? local band in 2004 and 2005, and has received the ?Readers Choice Award? for many years running.
